Long Island New York
Long Island, NY has every type of modular home available from small ranches, modern modular homes to luxury beach homes. In the northern tip in Greenport, NY - Avis America located in South Avis, PA built many of the homes in the popular Peconic Landing. Peconic Landing offers luxury modular homes for active seniors. While I worked for Avis America, I sold a house that was six inches taller than local ordinances allowed with George Kilthau.
Hudson Valley New York
Two story colonial modular homes are very popular in New York’s Hudson Valley where land costs are high and two prefab homes offer the best value for expensive building lots. The most popular two story modular home has a central foyer with a formal living room and dining room in the front of the home with a great room in the rear of the house. These colonial homes are delivered as four modules and erected in a day.
Up State New York
Modular ranch homes are more popular in rural upstate New York communities. T-ranch homes offer a reversed gable with an opportunity for a welcoming porch. Prefab raised ranches great spaces for a finished basement and tuck under garage. Modular homes in upstate New York will also require a roof system with a heavier snow load rating.
